Windrow only

Just want the end of the driveway cleared?

You handle the driveway. We clear the heavy wall of snow the town plow leaves behind, all season long.

How the windrow program works

Full season contracts, November 1 to April 15. All pricing is before HST and is for standard subdivision style lots.

How it works

What happens on a storm night.

  1. What an operator stop is

Our residential service is an operator stop. An operator comes to your home with a plow, clears the driveway and moves on to the next home on the route. It's driveway plowing only. Walkways are not part of the service, and we only offer salting for commercial properties. To help us do a clean job, park in the garage or as close to the garage door as you can, on the side away from the walkway, and keep multiple vehicles in tandem. Please don't move vehicles while the operator is working.

  2. How dispatch works

You never have to call us. We watch the weather all season, and once 1.75 inches (about 4.4 cm) of snow or more has fallen, your driveway is automatically on the list. We start plowing once about 70% of the forecast snow is down. That way you're not left with a cleared driveway at 6 a.m. and a fresh foot of snow by lunch. During major snowfalls, we come back for return visits.

  3. The windrow is included

When the town plow goes by, it leaves a heavy ridge of snow across the end of your driveway. That's the windrow, and in most towns it's the homeowner's job. With a seasonal plan, windrow clearing is included, so you can get out without grabbing a shovel.

On storm nights

Help us give you a clean driveway.

Park in the garage, or as close to the garage door as you can on the side opposite the walkway. More than one vehicle? Park them in tandem, one behind the other. And please never move a vehicle while an operator is on the property.

Please keep snow cleared at least 2 feet out from your garage doors so the operator can pull snow back with the plow blade. Every property is an operator only stop, so no hand shoveling is done.

  • Driveway markers installed before the season
  • Windrow cleared when the town plow leaves 6 in or more
  • Return visits during major snowfalls
  • Keep 2 feet in front of garage doors clear

(905) 251-5083

When does the snow season run?

Seasonal plans cover November 1 to April 15.

When do you come to plow?

Dispatch is automatic once 1.75 inches (about 4.4 cm) of snow or more has fallen. You don't need to call us.

What is the 70% rule?

We start plowing once about 70% of the forecast snow has fallen. That way you aren't left with a cleared driveway early in the storm and a pile of new snow on top of it later. During major snowfalls we come back for return visits.

Do you clear walkways or salt?

No. Our residential service is driveway plowing only. We don't shovel walkways, and we only offer salting for commercial properties.

Is the windrow at the end of the driveway included?

Yes. Windrow clearing is included in every seasonal plan. We also have a windrow only program if that's all you need.

Where should I park when it snows?

In the garage, or as close to the garage door as you can, on the side opposite the walkway. Park multiple vehicles in tandem. Please don't move vehicles while the operator is working.
